Cost-effective IN platform for your mobile or fixed network (CAMEL and INAP Phase 2) with a comprehensive list of services immediately available:
Based on state-of-the-art hardware, open software and standard SS7 cards for signalling, CAMEL and MAP (mobile networks) or INAP(fixed networks), the UltraComP SCP makes it economically possible to use IN for small or medium mobile operators who want to offer a range of value-added services with reduced capital and operation expenditures , as well as space. Scalability is used to handle from a few thousand subscribers up to several hundreds of thousands.
Full interworking and pre-payment with any vendor SMS, USSD and MMSC platform and the UltraComp integrated Intelligent Peripheral driven by the Assist mode.
The SCP is based on duplicated 19-inch rack-mounted servers. The 2 redundant systems share the load in order to be instantaneously active and have the same Point Code and Global Title (Mobile networks).
Therefore a failure will not cause service interruption and any call already established will proceed. This is a most effective way of providing 100% availability and security at low cost. The data base (MySql) is permanently replicated so no data is ever lost.
The Service Data Point which holds all the accounts is the proven platform of N-SOFT also used in frequently installed Service Nodes type architecture which can now be upgraded to a full IN architecture.
The SCP itself is based on the UltraComp redundant architecture with the same SS7 stack as our reliable SMSC and USSD platforms. This association provides a full range of pre-paid services for a fixed line or mobile IN.
The SCP also includes the MAP protocol.
All SMS-MO and USSD requests are routed to the SCP which performs the
real-time charging required for the pre-paid SMS-MO and USSD requests.
Also MMS-MO are routed by your GGSN to the SCP which will perform the
charging. The SCP also includes a SMPP client in order to send SMS
notification of a lack of credit.

Services provided can be easily adapted or new services developed by your own IT department using the simple SCE. Every service is described by a state machine with each transition triggered by events (InitialDP, ReportEventBCSM, etc.) and performing an action (Access to the Service Data Point which manages the Data Base or execution of a CAMEL or INAP command toward the switch (Connect, Release Call, etc.))
The Operating System is the RedHat distribution by LINUX, the most widely used and supported. The database is MySQL, also open software, fully compliant with SQL database request specifications. All the administration of the accounts, tariffs, and vouchers uses a web interface as well as the supervision of the platform using the open software Nagios.
Standard PCI cards are used, communicating over the industry standard H100/H110 TDM bus.
